Gentle Bottoms is a diaper assistance program from infant, toddlers and adults who have need for diapers. Our diaper assistance program is done once a month at the Taft Community Center we have an online registration form at our website and we provide assistance to families 3 times a year, after the 3rd time we do ask for the beneficiaries to enroll in one of our financial courses to better assist families toward self sufficiency. We are partnership with the Diaper Bank of Central Florida who provide diaper donations and resources. You can also help our efforts with your contributions and donations we are holding diaper drives across town.

FollowStarting my 10K #Runwithus Training with Pace of 10:42 we got to the South Port Neighborhood Park I quickly found myself picking up some trash and Figure why not #AdoptMyBlock. First found the South Port Park clean and prestige as always with some areas of improvement in the outer areas and side roads. We collected some plastics and boxes on the road across the A Grade Charter School and heading up the Orange County School Board Area. We Find a empty lot with overgrown grass and The Falcon surveying his domain. We discover a camp ground and softball souvenir. We could really rebuild a story in this spot. As we leave see evidence of feline camp. We then head south towards the Navy Exchange and we find some Cardboard boxes, misc trash bags and mini bar bottles. We notice some huge black trash bags filled with grass and weed clippings rotting in the hot Florida sun. We should notify Orlando Waste management to pick up the big black bags on the side of the road. For the most part it was good until we found a Red Cross open Donation Box at the Navy Activity Center. The lock was missing and the lock ring was corroded and could use some cleaning up and Donations Picked up. I Was Ninja Turtle shelled shock to see that some good items there but people please no more used old pillow donations. We closed the door and left down Landstreet rd. towards the park where we was amazed by a group of RC Flyers with a variety of aircraft from propelled single engines to the Red Jet Racer and fans favorite the Sky Fan glider. We than gathers some fast food trash to finally make it to the Basketball Court there we meet JR High Coach Sam C. We practiced some passing shooting drills. We then Challenge to a historic one on one 15 game finishing 16 - 11 Sam C. edging out on pure skills and youth. We then cruised down to Schooner Village to finally lay to rest on a good 5 mile morning session. #AdoptABlock #OrlandoDreamCenter #DreamKids #GentleBottoms #KeepOrlandoBeautiful @RedCross @OCPSnews @CityofOrlando @OrlandoDreamCtr |
